昨日は待望の休みだった。 

Yesterday was my long awaited off day.

会社から年末までに年次休暇のクリアを求めされたから、私は休暇を取った。

My company has requested us to clear our annual leave by end of the year so I took the day off yesterday.

朝9時に起きて、11時に家を出る前にパンを食べました。

I woke up at 9am and ate some bread before we left the house at 11am.

私たちは132番のバスを乗って、アンモキオへA&Wを食べに行きました。

We took bus 132 to Ang Mo Kio to eat A&W.

シンガポールでA＆Wが再開して以来、キューは常に長いため、食事をする機会がありませんでした。

Since A&W resumed in Singapore, the queue has always been long and we haven't had a chance to eat.

ようやくA＆Wを食べられて本当に良かったです。

It was really nice to finally be able to eat A&W.

夫はチキンコニードッグセットを注文して、私はバターとシロップのワッフルを注文しました。

My hubby ordered the Chicken Coney Dog set while I ordered the Waffles with Butter and Syrup.

あのルートビアとカーリーフライは確か昔の記憶を思い出したわ。

That root beer and curly fries have certainly reminded me of old memories.

昔は動物園の前にA&Wを食べにいました。

I used to eat that in the A&W in front of the zoo.

これは私の注文したワッフルです。

This is the waffles which I had ordered.

実は、私はチョコアイスクリームのワッフルの方が食べたいけど、私は冷たい食べ物を食べられないから、バターとシロップを注文しました。

Actually I wanted to eat the Chocolate Ice Cream Waffle, but I can't eat cold food, so I ordered the Butter and Syrup.

食べた後、私たちは13番のバスを乗って、アルジュニードのお寺へ行きました。

After eating, we took bus number 13 to the temple in Aljunied.

神殿で午後1時30分に予約を取り、亡くなった母に祈りを送りました。

I made an appointment at the temple at 1:30 pm to send our prayers to my deceased mother.

結局、私たちは予約時間より早く到着しました。

In the end, we reached there earlier than the appointment time.

祈りした後、私たちは2番のバスでブギスへ行きました。

After praying, we took bus number 2 to Bugis.

フォーチュンセンターのヤークンに行き、人気の寺院を祈りに行く前に約50分~1時間休憩しました。

We went to Ya Kun in the Fortune Center and took a break for 50 minutes to an hour before going to the popular temple for prayers.

このカヤスプレッドを朝食用に買いました。

I bought this Kaya spread for breakfast.

その後、私たちはブギスからサンテックまで歩いた。

After that, we walked from Bugis to Suntec.

夫が私をだまして月餅を買うためにリッツカールトンホテルに行ったが、実際に彼はレストランでアフタヌーンティーを食べに連れて行きました。

My hubby tricked me in going to Ritz-Carlton Hotel to buy mooncakes, but in reality he took me to a restaurant for afternoon tea.

レストランは本当に素敵な雰囲気です。

The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere.

照明もとてもきれいです。

The lighting is also very beautiful.

このアフタヌーンティーは、中華料理、西洋料理、郷土料理などのシンガポールの伝統料理に触発され、マレー語で「ティンカット」としても知られる5段のセラミックティフィンで提供されます。

Inspired by traditional Singaporean dishes such as Chinese, Western and other local dishes, this afternoon tea is served in a five-tiered ceramic tiffin, also known as "Tingkat" in Malay.

シャンパン、カクテル、モクテルを提供されました。

We were served with either Champagne, Cocktail or Mocktail.

モクテルはノンアルコールだが、カクテルはアルコール飲料であることを知りました。

We learned that mocktails are non-alcoholic and cocktails are alcoholic beverages.

プレーン＆チョコレートスコーンです。

This is the Plain & Chocolate Scone.

牛肉は取りませんので、スタッフはチキンの味付けに取り替えてくれました。

As we don't take beef, so the staff replaced it with chicken flavoured.

ベイクドポテトと組み合わせた料理は本当においしかった。

The food combined with the baked potatoes was really delicious.

次はサンドイッチです。

Next is the sandwiches.

Ths is the Yogurt Relish Prawn, Watercress Sandwich and Grilled Marmite Cheese Sandwich.

ヨーグルトレリッシュエビ、クレソンサンドイッチ、グリルマーマイトチーズサンドイッチです。

パティスリーの下には4つのデザートがあります。

There are 4 desserts under Patisserie.

ストロベリーココナッツシューパフ、チョコレートヘーゼルナッツレイヤーケーキ、キャラメルトリュフ、マンゴークリームブリュレとオンデオンデです。

This is the Strawberry Coconut Choux Puff, Chocolate Hazelnut Layer Cake with Caramel Truffle, Mango Creme Brulee and Ondeh Ondeh.

最後にミニチュアです。

Lastly are the Miniatures.

チョコレートプラリネ、マドレーヌ、マカロン、クッキーがあります。

We have Chocolate Pralines, Madeleines, Macarons and Cookies.

私のお気に入りは間違いなくオンデオンデだよ。

My favorite is definitely Ondeh Ondeh.

途中、「ハッピーウェディングアニバーサリー」と書いてあるケーキで驚いた。

Halfway through, the staff surprised us with a cake which writes "Happy Wedding Anniversary".

予約の時、スタッフは夫に私たちが特別な日をお祝いしたいかどうか尋ねました。そして夫は私たちに結婚記念日を祝っていると彼らに伝いました。

During reservation, the staff asked my hubby if we would like to celebrate for a special day. So my hubby told them that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.

1ヶ月早いですが、私はまだありがたいです。

Although it is a month early, I am still grateful.

ハンズから両親のために夕食を買った後、私たちはゴジェクで家に帰りました。

After buying dinner from Han's for his parents, we took Gojek home.

NTUCで必要なものを購入するために、午後7時に再び出かけました。

We went out again at 7pm to buy necessities in NTUC.

夕食に赤豆のスープを買いました。本当においしかった。

I bought Red Bean Soup as supper. It was really delicious.

今日は食べ歩きの旅のようで、とても楽しかったです。

It was like a food trip today and it was a lot of fun.

うまくいけば、もうすぐまた1日過ごせます。

Hopefully we can have another day out soon.
