KOMA - The Food Coma

今日は「KOMA」という和食レストランを紹介します。

I would like to introduce a Japanese-styled restaurant called KOMA today.

先日、旦那が久しぶりにデートしようと提案しました。 そして、赤ちゃんのエコー検査した後、私たちはちょっとパラゴンのヤークンでコーヒーを飲んだら、106番のバスでマリーナベイサンズへ行きました。

The other day, my husband suggested to go on a date for the first time in a while. Therefore, after the ultrasound scan of the baby, we had a little coffee at Yakun in Paragon, and then took bus 106 to Marina Bay Sands.

その日は霧雨でしたが、幸いバス停からマリーナベイサンズまでずっと保護されていました。

It was drizzling that day, but fortunately it was sheltered all the way from the bus stop to Marina Bay Sands.

計画通りにショッピングセンターを歩き回ったところ、ブラックナイトホットポットなどの新しいレストランがいくつかあることに気づきました。

As we walked around the shopping center as planned, we noticed that there were some new restaurants such as the Black Knight Hotpot.

私たちはその場所を探索し続けました、突然夫は店の前で立ち止まりました。

We continued to explore the place, and suddenly my husband stopped in front of the store.

これは目の前に立ち寄ったお店の外観です。

This is the appearance of the store which was in front of us.

夫がここで昼食をとると言うまで、このお店が何なのか全くわかりません。

I have no idea what this shop is until my husband said we were having our lunch here.

予約を確認した後、レストラン内に案内されていました。

After confirming the reservation, we were being guided into the restaurant.

レストランに入る前に、これらの鳥居を通り過ぎなければなりませんでした。

We had to pass these torii gates before entering the restaurant.

これらの鳥居を見ると、京都の伏見稲荷大社を思い出しました。

Looking at these torii gates reminded me of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto.

ああ、本当に日本へまた行きたいです。

Oh, I really want to go to Japan again.

今のところコロナウイルスでは不可能だと思います。とりあえず、まずはこのレストランを楽しみましょう。

I don't think it is possible with Coronavirus right now. So let's enjoy this restaurant first.

私たちが最初にレストランに入ったとき、右側にバーとラウンジエリアが見えます。

When we first entered the restaurant, we will see the bar and lounge area on the right.

高さ2.5mの大きな日本の鐘もあります。

There is also a large Japanese bell with a height of 2.5m.

この写真はダイニングエリアで撮ったものなので、橋が見えました。

This photo was taken in the dining area, that is why the bridge could be seen.

ベルの反対側にはダイニングエリアがあります。

This is the dining area on the other side of the bell.

天井は高く、傘構造のデザインで、各テーブルはとても近くにありますが、とても居心地の良い雰囲気でした。

The ceiling was high with an umbrella-structured design, and although each table was very close, it has a very cozy atmosphere.

箸置きとして折り鶴も使っています。 これはなんてキュートでユニークなのでしょう。

They even use paper cranes as a chopstick holder. How cute and unique this is!

ドリンクなしのランチセットを2セット注文しました。

We ordered two lunch sets without drinks.

定食に飲み物が付いていない理由がわかりません。 ただし、冷水または温水を提供します。

I don't know why the set meal doesn't come with drinks. However, cold or warm water is provided.

夫は前菜としてブロッコリーのグリルを注文しました。

My husband ordered Grilled Broccoli as an appetizer.

私は前菜に餃子きのこをいただきました。

I had Kinoko Gyoza as an appetizer.

夫のメインディッシュは森和瀬寿司でした。

My husband's main dish was Sushi Moriwase.

上段はサンバルサーモンロールとトリュフうなぎロールで構成されています。

The top row consists of Sambal Salmon roll and Truffle Unagi roll.

下段はシェフの選択で構成されています。

The bottom row consists of chef's choices.

メインディッシュは味噌汁も添えます。

The main dish is also served with miso soup.

私はメインディッシュは生姜蜂蜜釉サーモンを選びました。

I chose Ginger Honey-Glazed Salmon as the main dish.

並べてみるとメインディッシュはこんな感じです。

The main dishes look like this when you put them side by side.

私がこの写真を撮る前に、夫はすでにサンバルサーモンロールを食べ始めています。笑

Before I took this picture, my husband had already started eating Sambal Salmon Roll. Lol

メインディッシュが食べ終わったら、デザートを出しました。

After we had finished eating our main dishes, the desserts were then served.

ウェイターは「結婚記念日おめでとう」と言ってびっくりしました。

The waiter surprised me by saying "Happy Wedding Anniversary".

それはまた夫のアイデアに違いありません。 私たちの結婚記念日は、赤ちゃんが生まれてからまだ遠いです。

It must be my husband's idea again. Our wedding anniversary is still a long way from the birth of our baby.

これはレモンゆずです。 とても酸っぱいです。 私がゆずジャムを食べた瞬間、赤ちゃんはほとんどすぐにそれに反応します。

This is the Lemon Yuzu and it's very sour. The moment I eat the Yuzu Jam, the baby reacts to it almost immediately. 

赤ちゃんはそれが好きなのか嫌いかな？

I wonder if baby likes or hates it?

次のデザートは盆栽です。

The next dessert is the Bonsai.

溶かしたダークチョコレートとカリカリのプラリネでできています。

It is made of molten dark chocolate and crunchy praline.

味も悪くはありませんでしたが、満腹で終わらせませんでした。

The taste wasn't bad, but I couldn't finished as I was too full.

私は盆栽よりもレモンゆずが絶対に好きです。

I absolutely prefer Lemon Yuzu over Bonsai.

食べた後、歩道橋で必須の写真を撮りました。

After eating, we took the mandatory photo at the foot bridge.

全体的に、それはこのレストランで良い経験でした。 ただし、価格はやや高めであり、間違いなく価値があります。

Overall, it was a good experience at this restaurant. However, the price is a bit high and it definitely worth it.
